"It's not about the technology... but about the learning and teaching."
The Friday Institute for Educational Innovation's Digital Learning Collaborative team has hosted the Leading and Learning Summer "Boot Camp" since 2008 to support the growing need for rigorous and on the ground professional development needed for educators implementing digital or technology-enabled learning in their schools and districts. This unique training emphasizes that technology is not the driving force of digital initiatives but, rather a deep understanding of the intersection of curricular standards and sound pedagogy through the use of content-specific and appropriate technology resources and applications.
Our coaches are educational leaders who have extensive experience in strategic planning, leadership support and development, data-driven decision-making and professional development planning and design – all as they relate to digital learning programs. All the professional development designed by the Friday Institute's Digital Learning Collaborative is customized and tailored to fit educators' current needs in the classroom. Check out the DLC Team
